The Master and Margarita by M.Bulgakov

Though completed in 1940, "The Master and Margarita" wasn't
published in Moscow until 1966, when the first part appeared in the magazine
"Moskva." It was an immediate and enduring success: audiences
responded with great enthusiasm to its expression of artistic and spiritual
freedom.
My thoughts: The book is amazing. It`s a great swirl of events just
happening one by one. The situations may be so comic and misunedrstandable, but
at the same time they show you the real nature of people. It can be both good
and rotten nature. I personally adore the moment when at the perfomance Woland
asks if the citizens had changed and when the money became falling down fron
the ceiling viewers began doing everything just to get more money. There were
more tricks to show that side of people's nature (I won`t describe all of them
not to spoiler too much). In this book there are also a lot of fantasy
elements, which I love a lot. I`m a huge fantasy fan, you know.
As a
conclusion I think that this book is definitely worth reading and that's what I
recommend you.
By the way I've entered "The Book challenge 2015". It's a
challenge, where you set your reading goal for the year. This year I want to
read 50 books. What books I've already read you can see at my Goodreads profile. Feel free to add me as a friend.
Your Lisa.
